Known for its groundbreaking and celebrated original content, AMC Networks is the company behind the award-winning brands AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, SundanceTV, WE tv, and IFC Films.

Viewers First Approach

AMC Networks came to Big Drop with the goal of reimagining its Upfront Connect; a digital presence serving as the main client-facing hub for all sales and marketing efforts, including a Client Screening Room featuring full seasons and sneak peaks of original programming.

AMC Networks’ primary objective was to improve upon the existing site design and navigation to drive greater client engagement. Together we created a forward-looking, informative, and logical wireframe unique to the AMCN brand, and implemented a WordPress content management system to allow for real-time responsive updates and site edits across multiple different user tiers.

Upon taking on the AMC Networks digital engagement, we focused on immersing ourselves into the AMCN brand to better understand the unique needs of each AMCN Upfront end-user. With the goal of satisfying each user role, these insights allowed us to effectively bring AMCN’s in-house designs to fruition through a new and exciting wireframe built to support sales, education, client involvement, lightning speed load-times and conversions.

When focusing on building immersive user journeys, we provided AMCN with a wireframe conducive to engagement and resource discovery. Through simplifying navigation and reimagining the site architecture, we provided a seamless user interface that would highlight multimedia content, trailers and case studies through responsive video, animation and motion design; enabling the sales team to better engage with audience members and drive conversions.

Another important goal of this engagement was to support the AMCN in-house team members with an easy-to-edit content management system. Utilizing a Wordpress CMS enabled us to create 4 specific user entry layers (client facing, consumer facing, staff and admin). AMC Networks’ Upfront requires constant seasonal updates and content releases, and with the correct permissions in place we were able to ensure content on the Upfront digital presence remained easily editable and specific to each user role.

After weeks of collaboration with AMC Networks stakeholders and team members, we handed off a conversion-centered, dynamic digital presence that would uniquely present content and guide target audience members toward the CTA of getting in touch. With new strategic wireframes, Big Drop showcased AMC Networks Upfront designs in an interactive and impactful manner.
