Wonders is a restaurant technology startup based in New York City. Built by former restaurant operators and technologists, Wonders provide tools to help independent take-out restaurants reduce staffing headaches, increase revenue, and lower costs.

Helping Independent Restaurants Thrive

Wonders sought the help of Big Drop to redesign and redevelop its existing website. The goal was to have a site optimal for investors and better represent Wonders’ best-in-class products that handle take-out order processing, payment processing, and marketing promotions.

In bringing Wonders' new digital presence to life, Big Drop set out to highlight the true value of Wonders’ 1,500+ restaurants they serve thanks to the 250+ employees they have. It was essential for the new website to showcase the company and client’s culture as well as their content to make information easily digestible, presenting the site in a way that encourages discovery, interest, evaluation, and conversion.

In order to create user journeys conducive to information discovery, we implemented an information architecture strategy that conveyed both the company story and the product story in a clear, digestible manner. By creating and bringing Wonders’ premium positioning into fruition, Big Drop provided engaging content and animation to cultivate Wonders’ client-focused, people-centric solutions that take a new perspective to solve problems.

After implementing an information architecture strategy that would create a clean foundation for content, we then focused on creating dynamic custom illustrations to remain visually engaging with select interactive features. Through the use of iconography and other multimedia elements, we were able to break up text and keep users engaged and informed.

When focusing on Wonders’ brand, a primary objective for Wonders was to create a user experience that clearly articulates capabilities to audience members in an aesthetically pleasing way. By evoking a sense of brand credibility and excitement from audience members, Big Drop was able to take a company with a really poor appearance online and give them a top-notch digital presence.

Through this engagement, Big Drop was able to provide Wonders with a robust digital presence that highlighted solutions and client stories. Through purposeful content usage, resource discovery, and the optimization of best-in-class technology; Big Drop created a digital experience for Wonders built to help independent restaurant owners realize their dreams.
