Challenges

Foodbytes needed to establish itself as a thought leader in food innovation and sustainability, leveraging SEO and SEM to strengthen its digital authority. This required a nuanced approach to reach a diverse audience that included agtech companies, industry innovators, and sustainability advocates, each with unique needs and interests.

Strategy:

Big Drop Inc. developed an all-encompassing SEO and SEM approach, with a primary focus on long-term growth and the achievement of visibility immediately. Here is how we approached both of those goals:

SEO

We identified the perfect keywords that described the mission of Foodbytes, including "food sustainability partnerships," "agriculture innovation network," and "agtech solutions. Competitive short-tail and specific long-tail keywords were integrated for maximum search traffic. On-page optimization was performed, including meta title, description, and internal linking structures, for each keyword targeted. In the process, we improved page load times and mobile usability for a top-notch user experience and better rankings.

SEM

We ran search ads to target users highly interested in food industry innovation and sustainable agriculture solutions. Targeting high-intent keywords with attractive ad copy drove qualified traffic and increase click-through rates. When running retargeting ads, the focus was on re-engaging visitors who had shown interest in the platform but had not signed up as members yet and would contribute toward membership conversions. The designed customized messaging of the retargeting campaigns, were user behavior-based by adding appropriate calls to action.

Solution:

By implementing a multi-faceted approach to SEO and SEM, Big Drop Inc. transformed Foodbytes' digital platform. The more visibility, engagement, and authority mean that Foodbytes has been able to position itself as a critical platform in connecting the stakeholders of the food and agriculture sector to drive toward a sustainable future.
