Here’s What You’ll Do:

The Vice President of Finance will lead the areas of forecasting, planning, business decision analysis, and operational and business reviews for our growing, cutting-edge digital agency. This dynamic leader will also provide business consultation to the executive team and provide meaningful insights and business analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner across the organization to develop short and long term financial operating plans; drive implementation of these plans and measure effectiveness
  • Prepare annual operating budgets, working closely with fellow executives and directors, to ensure budgets are well thought out and within strategic guidelines
  • Identify the business financial strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and make recommendations to address these areas
  • Develop financial models to support analysis of a variety of financial and operating activities
  • Oversee contract process, relationship and commission mechanism, relating to outside rep firms
  • Prepare term sheets for client engagements
  • Communicate with clients, when necessary, as related to financial matters
  • Manage all A/R, A/P, and bookkeeping functions
  • Process payroll
  • Develop commission and bonus structures to motivate the team and drive performance
  • Responsible for full P&L for Experiences, including period-end accounting closes
  • Provides continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
  • Negotiate contract agreements for services for new business, contract renewal, or termination
  • Performing risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
  • Oversee the company’s finance automation systems
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
  • Produces timely and accurate forecasts

Qualifications:

  • MBA or CPA strongly preferred
  • Strong finance business partnership skills with all levels of the organization
  • 7+ years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience
  • Thorough understanding of financial risks, exposures, and liabilities
  • Strong financial modeling skills required
  • Agency experience, a plus
